Our client is a reputed POS marketing items design and manufacturing company in California. Its customers span the beverage industry, including some of the most well-known wine manufacturing companies in the United States.

Each season, those customers need to plan their POS marketing item manufacturing around their own marketing campaigns - reviewing purchase history from past seasons and building projections for the next one. That planning work involves real data analysis and back-and-forth with sales managers, and until now, all of it ran through spreadsheets and email.

On top of that seasonal planning cycle, sales managers regularly need POS marketing materials for ad hoc needs - a marketing event that comes up outside the planning calendar - fulfilled directly from inventory already sitting in the warehouse.

We designed and built a web platform, on the Salesforce Lightning platform, to handle both sides of that process: seasonal planning and ordering, and ad hoc inventory-based ordering, in one system instead of two disconnected workflows held together by email threads.

The platform integrates directly with Extensiv, the 3PL warehouse management system tracking real inventory, and with FedEx for shipping and delivery tracking - giving full visibility into stock and shipments from inside the platform, instead of a sales manager waiting on a status update from someone else.

We have been this client's product co-development partner for over sixteen years, and that partnership is still active today.
